Open woodland
Blue bulls are recorded across the Mukundra landscape, often at forest edges and open woodland.
Nilgai, the blue bull, belong to Indian dry woodland and field edges — not to an African savanna. In Mukundra they use open woodland and the buffer where forest meets cultivation.
Males look steel-grey; females and young are browner. Give them space; they will move if the gypsy idles quietly.
